Curriculum vitae

Daði Már.

I build and run software: business tools, online shops, market monitors, and the AI agents and self-hosted systems behind them. I am a master printer working in digital print, and before that I spent years leading teams on building sites, in logistics and in computer service. That background is why I care about finishing things and keeping them running.

Print, and the roles before it.

  1. Since 2013

    Digital printer

    Printing company

    Running HP Indigo digital presses and a range of other work, where I also completed my apprenticeship: journeyman certificate in prepress in 2014 and master craftsman in 2015.

  2. 2012 to 2013

    Team lead, distribution

    Food distribution

    Team lead in picking and distribution, in charge of printing invoices, and freezer warehouse work. Learned the Axapta and Distrib systems behind daily nationwide deliveries, both to run them and to fix problems in them.

  3. 2011 to 2012

    Driver and office assistant

    Foreign embassy in Reykjavík

    Daily driving and office work for the ambassador, hosting events and running errands for the embassy. Worked inside a closed embassy system with strict procedures for documents and records.

  4. 2005 to 2011

    Foreman and steel work

    Construction contractor

    Four years as foreman leading teams of up to 16 people on a hotel extension and service apartments, trusted with purchasing and handling costly materials such as glass artworks. Two years of steel construction and welding on a concert hall.

    Customer service

    Computer retailer

    Ran the repair desk and assembled new computers when time allowed.

    Assembly, repairs, virus removal and fault finding on computers, alongside school.
